Governor Bush Supports Florida Seminoles & Florida State On Mascot Ban

Governor Jeb Bush has joined in support of the Seminole tribe of Florida and Florida State University, in their calling for the NCAA to reverse the mascot ban.

Gov Bush

The Governor said, "I think it's offensive to native Americans ... the Seminole Indian tribe who support the traditions of FSU," Bush said on his way into a Cabinet meeting. "I think they insult those people by telling them, 'No, no, you're not smart enough to understand this. You should be feeling really horrible about this.' It's ridiculous."

The Governor went on saying, "How politically correct can we get?" Bush asked. "The folks that make these decisions need to get out more often."

Well said Governor well said…………………………..

The University is moving forward with their planned legal actions against the NCAA, and have hired attorney Barry Richard, who successfully led the legal challenge on behalf of Republican George W. Bush in the 2000 presidential recount in Florida.

I think a student in the FSU School of Law could win this one. A tradition of 50 years that the tribe endorses and values and wants to continue. It’s about game time and NCAA Political Correct Police, your going to regret this one………
