Prisoner Hunger Strike In Colorado Springs

Well you have to stand for something and when you take a stand, you should be prepared to see it through. Related to that point, comes this story of inmates in a Colorado Springs jail making a stand on "cruel and unusual punishment" focused on that Thanksgiving bird, the turkey:

Cruel Turkey

Well one can see how a steady diet of turkey chili mac, turkey a la king, turkey stew and turkey sausage could lead to claims of cruel and unusual punishment' even for criminals. Too much of a good thing can indeed become a bad thing. However, it is encouraging that the Sheriff saw the wisdom of giving the convicts a nice helping of spaghetti with "turkey" meat sauce to support their stand and statement expressed via a hunger strike of half an hour.

Like I said, you have to stand for something, even if you only stand for half an hour.................................With that fortitude perhaps they would be good recruits for the next America Coming Together, Soros initiative. Hey they will have a criminal record and we know the DNC likes those types of folks involved in their election campaigns................................
