William Jefferson+Clinton+Joe Wilson+France+Africa Trade Cacus=Major Scandal?

Speculation that the William Jefferson scandal could have the makings of a major and deep scandal, over @ MacMind. The clues:

Africa Trade and Investment Caucus + President Clinton using Joe Wilson to drum up trade in Africa = This excellent researched article by Fedora on Free Republic called: What Joe Wilson Didn't say about Africa.................................

Now that would produce some fireworks would it not? A massive scandal connected by: Jefferson, the Africa Trade & Investment Caucus, former President Clinton, Joe Wilson, and France.........................Can you imagine what the left will be saying about Karl Rove cooking this one up leading into the 2006 election if the scandal comes to light and facts start dribbling out? "Shrieks & Screams" at a diabolical decibel.......................

Obviously it would be a "block buster" of a scandal but of course there have been no facts presented yet that it is in fact true.......................Regardless, it's worth keeping an eye on because if it does break, watch out..................

The NYT has this story up showing that Jefferson's love for money earned him the nickname Dollar Bill:
