Sheehan - MSM - Democrat Handlers

Byron York has a good article up on the Cindy Sheehan sit-in:

York

A couple items that jumped out at me were her statement on the MSM and the deep connection she has with the leading strategist of the Democratic Party.

First her MSM comment:

"They can't ignore us, and they can't put us down. Thank God for the Internet, or we wouldn't know anything, and we would already be a fascist state."

"Our government is run by one party, every level," Sheehan continued, "and the mainstream media is a propaganda tool for the government." Sheehan also called the 2004 presidential election "the election, quote-unquote, that happened in November."

Well it has become pretty clear that Mrs. Sheehan has some deep issues, and has been exposed by her own family of being driven by a blind agenda and bias. It’s a bias that in some unthinkable way allows her to even use the tragic death of her own son to promote a self centered bias. For her to state that the MSM is a propaganda tool for Bush is truly insane. The only reason she is being covered by the MSM is because she is being critical of Bush and the war, which they are silently and not so silently cheering. The MSM is leaving the most insane statements and facts out of their coverage as a service to her credibility.

I wonder however how the MSM will react to Sheehan’s claim that they are a propaganda tool of Bush. Will they decrease their coverage of this budding anti-war movement spokes person? Will they increase their coverage? Will they work extra hard to sharpen their criticism of Bush to disprove the laughable claim they are a tool of the administration? The statement was I think a calculated move by her handlers to do just that, sharpen the attack on Bush and Iraq by the MSM.

That brings us to Mrs. Sheehan’s handlers. Who exactly are they? Well as York notes they are Democratic strategist Joe Trippi who ran DNC Chariman Howard Deans campaign. Here is Trippi’s website:

The Revolution Will Not Be Televised

It's a Revolution huh? Sounds very sixties to me..........................

Here is what Trippi is saying about the Sheehan call he moderated:

After yesterday’s conference call and numerous blog posts, the word is spreading. The Washington Post and the LA Times both ran articles on Cindy today, each of them mentioning the conference call that took place yesterday. The LA Times article even notes that, thanks to all of our blog posts, “Cindy Sheehan was the top ranked search term on Technorati.com.”

I’m sure that there are more articles, but these are two of the biggest that I have found so far. Keep spreading the word - it’s working…

Joe Trippi

Another handler is strangely enough another Democratic strategist Bob Fertik. Here is his blog:

democrats.com

Take look at the MeetWithCindy.org ad for your daily fill of sleazy agenda driven politics. Also the post titled: Fox Unleashes Vile McCarthyite Smear Campaign Against Cindy and Peace Movement. Fertik also goes after York himself in the next posting: Byron York attacks Cindy – and Me. Seems that Fertik has a problem with the reporting of facts and a record of what happened regarding his involvement with Sheehan. His bio states that he is one of the countries leading feminists Leading Feminist ………..Can a man be a leading feminist?

When two of the leading Democratic strategist are the primary handlers of Mrs. Sheehan, it’s not hard to see that she is part of the overall Democratic strategy. Sheehan’s role is to promote the anti-war movement and all the Downing Street Memo conspiracy claims that have been tossed aside by the majority of Americans due to lack of credibility. Like NARAL Mrs. Sheehan is an offshoot of the Democratic Party, and is the flavor of the day that they have rolled out.

The past few days have given us a glimpse of what today’s Democratic Party really looks like and is. I don’t think there is any doubt that when MoveOn’s Tom Matzzie stated the following that it was in fact true:

"In the last year, grass-roots contributors like us gave more than $300-million to the Kerry campaign and the DNC, and proved that the Party doesn't need corporate cash to be competitive," MoveOn's 24-year-old executive director said in a recent e-mail urging members to back an outsider for chairman of the Democratic National Committee........ "Now it's our Party: we bought it, we own it, and we're going to take it back."

Based on what the leading Democrats are doing with NARAL and Sheehan, it absolutely confirms that the extreem left have in deed taken over the party and things like the DLC and anything slightly moderate about the party is being complety removed.

That will be a very good thing I say, for Republicans in 2006 & 2008………………………………….
